Once Again Keeps Goalkeeping Academy are leading the way forward, this time by presenting you with the first ever Goalkeeping specific Scholarship in the country.

Keeps have formed a partnership with Brooklands College in Surrey to offer you this groundbreaking opportunity to train as a Goalkeeping scholar whilst at the same time studying for your BTEC first diploma or BTEC National Diploma in Sports and exercise science. During your training and studies you will also obtain your 1st4sport levels I and 2 in Football coaching as well as your 1st4sport levels 1 and 2 in Goalkeeping qualifications. You will also have the option of retaking any GCSES. You will be learning and training alongside other like minded students who have a passion for goalkeeping.

The curriculum will include Advanced Goalkeeper Specific Training at least three days a week alongside the following studies:

• Anatomy for Sport & Exercise
• Nutrition for Sport & Exercise
• Quantitive Sport & Exercise Research
• Social Aspects of Sport
• Fitness Testing
• Physiology Factors in Sports & Science
• Sport Massage
• Exercise Health & Lifestyle
• Biomechanics
• Sports Injuries
• Practical Sports Performance
• Technological Developments in Sport
• Sports Industry Experience.

This course will also enable you to be seen by professional and semi professional teams who will come and observe specialised training days. We will also recommend you for trails should we feel that you are at the required level.

This is a 2 year course and to apply, you must be aged 16 or over by September 2009. We take applications from all over the UK and abroad.
